Accepting these terms

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, our Shipping Policy and our Returns & Exchanges policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

"The Money Vault," "we," "us" and "our" mean the business that runs this website. "You" means the person using the site or buying from us.

Who can buy from us

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase. Our website is meant for customers in the United States, and we only ship to US addresses. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you give us is true and that you're allowed to use the payment method you choose.

Your account

• You can check out as a guest or create an account.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or is used for fraud.

Product information & images

We work hard to describe every piece accurately, including metal, carat weight, diamond grades and measurements.

• Lab-grown and natural diamonds: we sell both. Each listing and certificate says clearly which type of diamond is in the piece. Lab-grown diamonds have the same chemical and physical properties as natural diamonds but are made above ground.
• Metals: our pieces are made in solid 14K or 18K gold or platinum. We don't sell plated or filled jewelry.
• Slight variations: each piece is finished by hand, and natural materials vary. Carat weights for multi-stone pieces are total weights and may vary slightly. Measurements are approximate.
• Photos: pictures are enlarged to show detail and may look a little different from the piece in your hand. Screen settings also change how colors appear.

Pricing & errors

All prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where state law requires it. Prices can change without notice, but a change won't affect an order we've already confirmed.

Mistakes happen. If a product is listed at the wrong price or with wrong details, we may cancel the order, even after you get an order confirmation email. If we've already charged you, we refund you in full. We'll always tell you before canceling and, where we can, offer you the piece at the correct price.

Orders, acceptance & cancellation

Your order is an offer to buy. The confirmation email we send means we received it, not that we've accepted it. We accept your order when we ship it.

• We may refuse or cancel any order, for example because of stock limits, pricing errors, or a payment that fails fraud screening. If we cancel, you get a full refund.
• We may limit quantities and decline orders that look like they are for resale.
• To cancel an order, contact us at [email protected] or +1 (513) 407-3252. In-stock orders can be canceled any time before they ship. Made-to-order pieces can be canceled only before production starts, so please reach out quickly.
• Once an order has shipped, the return policy applies instead.

Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Apple Pay, processed securely by Stripe. Your payment is authorized when you place the order. For large orders, or when your billing and shipping addresses don't match, we may contact you to verify the purchase before we ship.

Shipping & returns

Shipping is free and fully insured within the US, with an adult signature required. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the package is delivered and signed for. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

You can return most pieces within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Read our Returns & Exchanges policy for what qualifies and how it works.

Custom orders

• We start production only after you approve the final design in writing (email is fine).
• Custom pieces ship 4–6 weeks after design approval. We'll tell you right away if anything could delay your piece.
• If a deposit is needed, we agree on the amount with you before any work begins.
• Custom designs are made just for you, so they can't be returned or exchanged. They are still covered by our lifetime manufacturing warranty.
• You confirm that any design, photo or sketch you send us is yours to use, and you give us permission to use it to make your piece.

Promotions & coupon codes

• You can use one promo code per order unless the offer says otherwise.
• Codes can't be combined with other offers, applied to past orders, exchanged for cash or used to buy gift cards.
• If you return part of an order that used a discount, your refund reflects the discount you actually received.
• We may end or change a promotion at any time, and we may cancel orders that misuse a code.

WELCOME25 first-order offer

The WELCOME25 code is for your first order with us only, and each customer can use it once. "Customer" means one person, household, email address, payment method or shipping address. It can't be combined with other codes. Any additional terms shown with the offer also apply.

Intellectual property

Everything on this site, including our designs, photos, videos, text, logos and the site layout, belongs to The Money Vault or the people who licensed it to us. It's protected by US copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view the site and print pages for your own personal use. You may not copy, sell, reproduce our designs or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Reviews & content you share

When you post a review, photo or comment, or tag us on social media, you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, show and edit it (for length or clarity, without changing its meaning) on our site, in emails and in ads. We'll ask before using your photo in an ad.

Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience. We don't allow content that's false, offensive, infringes someone else's rights, or includes personal information about others. We may remove content that breaks these rules. We never edit reviews to change a rating.

Prohibited use

When you use our site, you agree not to:

• Break any law or use the site for fraud
• Use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to collect data or place orders
• Try to hack, overload or interfere with the site or its security
• Pretend to be someone else or use a payment method that isn't yours
• Buy products for commercial resale without our written agreement

Disclaimers

Our products are covered by the written lifetime manufacturing warranty. Apart from that warranty and any rights you have by law, the site and its content are provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise that the site will always be available or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, The Money Vault is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, such as lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved.

Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Indemnification

If you break these terms or the law while using our site, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, related to that claim.

Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at [email protected]. Most problems can be solved quickly that way.

If we can't resolve it informally within 60 days, any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hamilton County, Ohio, and you and we agree to the jurisdiction of those courts. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court instead.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The new version applies from the date we post it, and the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Orders you placed before the change follow the terms in effect when you ordered.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.
